What is Kundalini?

Kundalini, a Sanskrit term for “snake” or “serpent power”, is the energy of consciousness and reservoir of creative energy. Thought to reside within the sleeping body as a coiled serpent at the base of the spine (the Root Chakra), the Kundalini is aroused through spiritual discipline and prepares the body for a spiritual awakening. It is possible to accelerate your personal development and spiritual growth by unraveling the serpent power and allowing the energy to ascend from the Root Chakra, all the way up the body,  and then exiting the Crown Chakra- connecting all Universal and Earth energies. An open Kundalini means that over a period of time, complete cleansing of the chakras, body parts, and energy channels is obtained.

How Does Kundalini Reiki Work?

Kundalini Reiki is akin to receiving a deep-tissue massage for your energetic body, though it does not require any form of touching or hand-placement. Just as a deep-tissue massage works through the layers of muscle to release built-up tension and knots, Kundalini Reiki delves into the deeper layers of your energetic system and removes knots and blocks from the chakras to prepare the body for a full Kundalini Awakening.

Our individual Kundalini (small Kundala) is the same energy as the Earth’s Kundala energy- meaning that when our energy is awakened we can know our soul’s role in the co-evolution/transformation of humankind.
